Adjudicators for Security of Payment Claims
If the respondent didn’t pay or didn’t serve a valid payment schedule within the response window, you can apply for adjudication — a fast, lower-cost alternative to court.
PayClaim does not lodge adjudication applications. The lists below are the authorised nominating authorities (ANAs) for each state and territory. Pick one, then lodge the application yourself.
QLD Queensland
Act: Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (Qld). The registrar of adjudication is the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC).

NSW New South Wales
Act: Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW). Authorised nominating authorities are appointed by NSW Fair Trading.

VIC Victoria
Act: Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2002 (Vic). The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) administers the register of authorised nominating authorities.

Act: Construction Contracts Act 2004 (WA) — different adjudication model to the east-coast states. Applications are made to the Building Commissioner, who appoints a registered adjudicator from the WA Register.

Act: Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2009 (SA). The Office of the Small Business Commissioner SA administers authorisation of ANAs.

Act: Building and Construction Industry (Security of Payment) Act 2009 (ACT). Access Canberra administers authorised nominating authorities.
NT Northern Territory
Act: Construction Contracts (Security of Payments) Act 2004 (NT) — different adjudication model, similar to WA. Applications go to the Construction Contracts Registrar at NT Government.
